Sports Network Announces MotoGP™ Race Calendar and Opening Round Schedule for Sunday, March 26th

The highly-anticipated 2017 MotoGP™ World Championship kicks off Sunday, March 26th, exclusively on beIN SPORTS. Starting with the season opener at the Losail International Circuit in Doha, Qatar, each of this season’s races will air on both beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS CONNECT, the network’s streaming service. This weekend’s coverage begins on Saturday, March 25th LIVE on beIN SPORTS CONNECT with all the qualifying action for Moto 2, Moto 3 and MotoGP starting at 10:55 AM ET and continues on Sunday, March 26th with the races in all three categories.

Canadians can sample beIN SPORTS during a special Spring Free Preview through to April 19.

The 2017 season will be the 69th edition of the MotoGP™ World Championship. Established as a World Championship by the FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) in 1949, MotoGP™ is the oldest motorsports championship in the world and the premier-class of three racing classes that take to the track on a typical Grand Prix weekend.

This year’s action-packed schedule features 18 races in 15 countries across four continents. The first race will be held in Qatar on March 26th, starting an eight-month battle for the title, concluding in Spain on November 12th.

Other events airing during the free preview include exclusive soccer action from LaLiga, Serie A and Ligue 1 along with international MotoGP Grand Prix races from Qatar and Argentina.
